Big Ben, Vintage Shirts, and Ted Lasso's Pub

Spent the day walking through London. Big Ben was impressive. Saw a castle. Took the tube around. Found a sick vintage market and grabbed a shirt.

Rented a car and drove out to the Cotswolds, then on the way back stopped in Richmond to see what Ted Lasso was up to. The cinnamon bun tour was the real winner of the day though. And the fish and chips were amazing.

Day 01 · JUN 1

London Bound

Every big adventure starts with a small, ordinary moment — a bag by the door, a taxi booked, that quiet buzz of anticipation before the world opens up. Today was that day. We were London-bound.

The airport run is never glamorous, but there's something I always want to remember about it: the way excitement and nerves sit side by side, the way the kids suddenly seem older the moment they're pulling their own luggage. We snapped a quick photo on the way out — nothing staged, just us, heading somewhere.

By mid-afternoon we were watching the city unfold beneath us (or maybe it was the other way around — London rising up to meet us). A wide, sprawling panorama. That first real glimpse that says: *you're here now.*

Not every travel day has a grand story. Sometimes the story is just: we went. We showed up. And that's enough.
